10 different activities to cure boredom

Boredom happens to the best of us. I have compiled a list of 10 awesome activities to give you ideas to cure being bored!

1. Discover a new community:

I always find it fun to discover a new community! From Inglewood to Bridgeland, Calgary has a ton of cool neighbourhoods to explore. Find a friend to come with you, hop on a bus, and explore!
2. Drawing:

The old classic drawing; find a picture you really like and draw it! To make it even easier, why not find a new drawing tutorial to try: Disney, still life, portraits etc.
3. Cleaning:

While chores may sound boring, but with a bit of music, putting on sweat pants and getting in to it, it can be fun and productive!
4. Bake something new:

Find a recipe that you’ve always wanted to bake! Whether it’s layered oreo puddingsoft & chewy chocolate chip cookies, or quick and easy brownie-in-a-cup recipe, baking is a great way to cure boredom.
5. Selfies:

You’ll never go bored with pulling out your phone and taking some great selfies!
6. Write in a journal:

I find to write in a journal keeps my mind off things! Reading old journals is also a great way to entertain yourself.
7. Movie night:

Call up a couple of friends, invite them for a sleep over and have a good old fashioned movie night. Here are a few movie suggestions:

Don’t forget the popcorn!
8. Go for a walk:

Sometimes walks are adventurous! Being outside and being in the fresh air for a while could cure being bored.
9. Decorate your room:

I like to decorate/redecorate my room every once and a while! You could even find a DIY project to pass the time while sprucing up your area.
10. Go to the mall:

For curing this boredom I also find a little bit of shopping helps!
