Alice in Wonderland

Going to the movies is one of our favourite ways to amuse ourselves nowadays.  They’re fun and can also help reduce stress.

Over the last few months,  Avatar was HUGELY discussed by EVERYONE.  It got a lot of high praise for the awesome 3D graphics and in-depth story.

But this month…guess what?  The most-talked about film has become Alice in Wonderland!

This movie is 3D as well, and the story based on the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, a story familiar to people at every age.  In the book, the main story revolves around Alice’s dream.  However, the plot of the movie is bit different: (Note* this could be a spoiler) a 19-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny which is to the end the Red Queen’s Regin of Terror.  Throughout the movie, there’s tons of suspense, and the supporting charactors add a lot of humour.

Directed by Tim Burton, the film stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (plus a host of other awesome actors).

So!  Make your plans to go see it in theatres! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Let’s have a quick look!

  1. Well written article. I am looking forward to seeing the movie but I understand it is not for young children as there are many scary parts.
