It helps to keep the curls more defined and stay longer, naturally. Sea salt itself is also great for your hair because of all of the minerals present in it. It helps to moisturize your hair and remove dandruff.
To make this DIY sea salt spray, you will need the following ingredients:
- An empty spray bottle
- Warm water
- Sea salt
- Conditioner
- An essential oil of your choice
To make this spray, you need to first add however much sea salt you want into the spray bottle. Next, add the conditioner. For around every litre of water you use, add ½ teaspoon of conditioner. Do not add too much because then the mixture will not dissolve properly. To enhance the smell, try using a coconut conditioner.
After adding the conditioner, use an essential oil of your choice. This could be jasmine, lavender, lemon, rose, etc. Add 1 teaspoon of this into the mixture. The essential oils will help moisturize your scalp. Finally, add in the warm water. Screw on the cap and shake it to combine all of the ingredients. This spray can be used on both dry and damp hair.
