IB Stressin’! 21 things an IB student may be doing instead of studying

It’s the beginning of April, and every IB student knows what that means! Less than a month before the IB exam period begins. Of course, students have long since begun their preparation and studying… not. Here are 21 things IB students are probably doing, would sooner be doing, but are not limited to doing instead of studying for their costly IB exams that are less than a month away. (Why 21? It’s a multiple of that certain highly coveted number by most, if not all, students.)

  1. Reading Youth Are Awesome
  2. Surfing Facebook/Twitter newsfeed(s)
  3. Watching one YouTube video after another
  4. Considering joining the circus
  5. Having trouble guessing someone else’s drawing on Draw Something
  6. Watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians
  7. Self-congratulating for completing a drawing of and/or guessing an exceptional hard word on Draw Something
  8. Reading and re-reading the Social 30 textbook
  9. Taking selfies
  10. Opening and re-opening the fridge only to discover there is still nothing to eat since five minutes ago
  11. Having a one person dance party
  12. Texting
  13. Ranting about how frustrating IB exams are
  14. Calculating predicted IB marks
  15. Taking a ride on a unicycle
  16. Calculating the probability of getting 7’s on as many exams as possible
  17. Filling out scholarship applications/writing scholarship essays
  18. Catching up on homework… who am I kidding?
  19. Considering catching up on homework, but not following through
  20. Creeping arch nemeses/crushes on any social neworking site
  21. Anything and everything but studying. Procrastinating… duh!
