Introducing Canadian Music [October]

1. Coeur de pirate

Coeur de pirate is an amazing Francophone singer and songwriter from Montreal. Most of her indie pop songs are in French but she has recorded an album (and more!) of English songs. You can listen to her full albums here!

2. Seaway

Seaway is a pop-punk band from Ontario, formed in 2011. One of their major musical influences is Blink-182 which is seen through Seaway’s upbeat and energetic choruses. Both the instrumentals and vocals are overly amazing but definitely not overwhelming. Check out some songs from their first album ‘Hoser’!

3. Tupelo Honey

Tupelo Honey is an Edmonton based rock band formed in 2004. Their most recent album, ‘Brave New World’ was released in 2014 and features incredible instrumentals and a wide range of different song styles that all fall under the rock genre. If you enjoy listening to heavy/pure rock music, make sure to check out their songs!

Stay tuned for the November edition of ‘Introducing Canadian Music’!
