Did you know nearly 1 in 5 children have a diagnosable psychiatric concern? Mental health is one of the largest health problems facing young people today. From anxiety to depression, many are not even aware of these health problems that plague so many youth today. In Alberta alone, there are an estimated 200,000 children living with a mental health condition.
The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation Youth Council is proud to present the 1st Annual Metamorphosis Event: an evening in support of Mental Health at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. On Saturday, May 3, 2014, join us for an evening of entertainment at the Inglewood Community Association, 1740 24 Ave SE Calgary. The evening will include dinner, live music, guest speakers and a silent auction.
