This Sunday, March 14th, 2010 from 12pm to 3:30pm, you can take part in this family friendly event which actually showcases amazing works of both cake and chocolate art. Yummy, much?
This event is brought to you by L’Arche Calgary and the Pastry Chef Guild of Alberta, who have teamed up to help each other out. Tickets are only $5 a person and the funds raised from this event will benefit L’Arche Calgary members who have developmental disabilities. Come visit the Heart Building on SAIT campus for the L’Arche Calgary Cake Walk and the 4 Nines Cafeteria for the Lindt Chocolate Competition. More information on this combined event can be found here.
I really think the L’Arche Calgary Cake Walk will be fantastic to check out. In addition to just checking out tasty art, there will be live entertainment at as well, brought to you by the L’Arche Singers of the L’Arche Calgary community. You can also decorate cupcakes or enjoy some complimentary cake to name a few other activities! Or you can come by and say hi to the volunteers from CYFC’s YVC (including yours truly ;)).
