Not Old Enough

I love concerts. The adrenaline rush is amazing and the live talent is even better. What isn’t so great is the moment you realise the concert is for ages 18 and older. This doesn’t happen so much with the popular music but for indie and alternative bands they usually play at bars! I always complain and complain to my parents and I am starting to sound like a broken record. I can see where they come from though, if they aren’t that famous they can only play small venues because of the costs, and I’m sure McEwan hall is cheaper than the Stampede Corral. It is just very frustrating to think that all of my favourite bands don’t seem to mind leaving out, the probably very few, younger fans. Also I’m sure I’m not the only teen that doesn’t like all the popular bands. Seeming that underground music and hipsters are one of the most popular trends right now, you would think artists and their management would pick up on that. I know I am ranting and you probably could care less but, I’m tired of watching cell phone recordings of the concerts on Youtube, while eating tubs of ice cream and dabbing my puffy eyes with facial tissues.
