NYFW Fashion Edit: Calvin Klein SS16

For the last installment of YAA’s NYFW Fashion Edit, I present to you a brand that has taken 2015 by storm. The definition of fashion and what we perceive as trendy has changed over the years, but Calvin Klein is always keeping up with the times. With celebrity endorsements from David Beckham, Justin Bieber, and Kendall Jenner, it’s unlikely you haven’t seen this fashion house on social media.

Calvin Klein’s SS16 collection is modest, yet elegant. The neutral colors and easy patterns with unique fabric on the runway is a brilliant extension of what the brand stands for. It’s safe to say that Calvin Klein is so popular because of their ability to make timeless apparel.

The use of jewelry to accentuate the body of the dresses help captivate and make spectators realize the importance of simplicity. Even without eccentric designs, Calvin Klein still makes a bold statement with this collection.

Until the next NYFW, check out the #mycalvins hashtag for all things Calvin Klein! We’ll definitely be seeing more from this brand as their outlet continues to grow.

Best wishes,

Kandace  🙂
