If you’re ever in search for a missing gnome that walked out of your garden at night, you can probably find the miniature man hanging out with the other 1,600 gnomes found at Ron Broomfield’s home. Broomfield, now 77 years old, not only has a passion for collecting gnomes, but dresses up like his collection to do his grocery shopping and to raise money for the NSPCC.
“Some people laugh and point at me when I go out in costume but I don’t care. I’m in my own little fantasy land and raise money for a great charity,” says Ron Broomfield.
