Roar of the Lions

Julie Taymor brings a beloved Disney Classic to life in the Tony Award winning Broadway, The Lion King.

In the 2 hours and 25 minutes the room will be transformed into the African Savannah accompanied with Oscar winning songs from Elton John & Tim Rice, a cast of over 40 talented actors and captivating choreography. Also a few bonus songs and comic relief added here and there. Enjoyable for all ages, this is a show not to be missed.

“A landmark event in entertainment.” Say The New York Times.

It is held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and a parking fee of $5 is charged.

I recently went to go see it and it was spectacular. The costumes were amazing and very creative with life-size elephants and giraffes walking up the aisle.

Ticket prices ranges but it is definitely worth every penny. The Lion King goes on until August 30th so hurry and get your tickets!
