What makes it worthwhile:  As someone who loves the occasional pickle, you could imagine the salivation that occurs at the thought of deep fried pickles. It’s a pretty simple idea, taking a pickle and giving it even more crunch that it already has, and it definitely worked! The batter around it was crispy and it balanced out the sourness of the pickle. There was a cool ranch sauce that really elevated the pickle to the next level. It actually ended up tasting salty and sour, which at first thought isn’t exactly the most appealing combination, but you can’t judge until you try it. It’s great, you couldn’t ask for a better tasting deep fried pickle! As advertised on the Stampede website, there were pickle chips that were dipped in buttermilk batter– which I couldn’t find– but I think I was fortunate to find these instead. It was an actual deep fried item that didn’t leave you feeling sick afterwards; if you’re a pickle connoisseur or enthusiast, you could easily finish this by yourself!  The pickle itself makes for a great way to settle down your stomach, it helps battle the queasiness of too much deep fried food. It’s funny how something deep fried can help make you feel better about eating other deep fried things! As you can see in the video, I had my friend do more talking than I did, but we both did very little. We admittedly were just enjoying the pickles too much! This is worth the try if you love pickles, and we all know that you’re missing out if you don’t.
