What YAA Loves About Summer: Summer Movies

My absolute favorite thing to do during my summer vacation is  to go see all of the great movies that are released in the summer months. I am a movie fanatic and have created a list of the five biggest movies that have or are coming out just in time for summer vacation!

1. The Fault in Our Stars  

Although I’m sure many of you have already seen this heartwarming young adult film, I know it is definitely worth seeing again!

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This cartoon classic is getting a makeover in August, so make sure you go check it out!

One sentence summary: The turtles are back, fighting the villain Shredder in New York City with their sidekick, April.

4. If I Stay

This tragic book turned into a movie will get you tearing up this summer!

For fans of: Coming of age, suspense, tragic romance

One sentence summary: A young girl named Mia must decide if she will live or die after she gets in a car crash.

5. The Maze Runner

Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien takes on the main role in the big screen adaptation of this best selling novel!

For fans of: Thriller, action, dystopia

One sentence summary: A group of boys must try to remember their past as they try to escape from a challenging maze without any recollection of their lives.
