Tasmania… the heart of the world?

Tasmania – A world apart, not a world away.

While slouching lazily in the sunlight, embracing the blissful summer breeze that Calgary occasionally offers, in attempt to help my parents figure out the potential locations for the family vacation, I came across a neat article that captivates the readers in a short summary of Tasmania, a small island that is located near Australia. The shape of island simply captured my attention. At first it seemed like a mere fragment of the continent; a redundant, undesired part of Australia. But as I searched up the island online, the island appeared to be shaped as a heart.

Many people say Tasmania is the end of the world because of its location and the few number of people living on it. Some may also say that Tasmania is the heart of the world, due to the shape of it. The heart of the world captures of the heart of the people. Tasmania’s beauty is mainly based on nature and its rare wildlife, such as the platypus. Enjoy some picture of the beautiful Tasmania Island.

Unfortunately, my persuasive words and the alluring beauty of the Tasmania island was not enough to convince my parents. But I know that one day in my life time, the Tasmania island will be my destination.
