WestJet’s Christmas miracle videos

The Spirit of Giving

WestJet recently released its annual Christmas miracle video, this time taking place in a community in the Dominican Republic. Santa asked the people what they wanted for Christmas, but little did they know that their wish would actually come true. Even if you see this as a campaign just  to improve WestJet’s public relations, I think it’s still an important reminder that the holidays are really about the spirit of giving rather than receiving. I can’t help but smile while watching this video and I hope you do too.

Previous Year

In case you haven’t seen last year’s video, here it is, this time taking place right here in Calgary. Travelers were asked what they wanted for Christmas before their departure. WestJet took notes and rushed to fulfill all their wishes before they arrived in Calgary. Their reactions just go to show that making others happy can make you just as happy.

We always have something to give, even if it’s just a few kind words and sometimes that’s even more meaningful than material goods. Let’s make sure that everyone has a happy holiday.
