Youth Week 2014 is HERE!

Youth Week 2014 is FINALLY here! In order to celebrate this truly momentous occasion, I will be breaking down every event for this year’s Youth Week! Please check out last week’s post for the breakdown of the early bird events, weeklong events, and opening day events. I will repost weeklong events here, just as a reminder! Without further ado, this is what Youth Week 2014 has to offer:

WHAT IS YOUTH WEEK?

–          Calgary’s youth of today are able to live in such a fantastic city because the previous generation of youth built and strengthened Calgary with leadership, dedication, hard-work, and everything in between. Today’s youth have maintained that tradition, and have even risen above the past generation of youth in order to continue the work they have started.

–          Youth Week is a week-long celebration of youth in which agencies, businesses, and communities within the Calgary area host events, projects and offer free or discounted services in honor and celebration of youth.

–          Youth Week 2014 runs from April 20-27. Throughout the week, events will be held at places like Market Mall, the YMCA, Trico Centre, Calgary Public Libraries, Recreation Centers (Westside Rec, Beltline Aquatic) and many more.
