What To See In YYC: Weekend Preview July 3-5, 2015

Ya Hoo! Hello cowboys and cowgirls, here we are again. Stampede is here! We are going to see people wearing cowboy hats, shirts and jeans everywhere after today. This weekend, our topic is surrounded by Stampede. The stampede parade is also tomorrow so get your lazy bum up because you have to wake up early to see it! Also, if you really don’t want to spend the money at the gate for stampede this Sunday is family day. Free admission from 6-8 am at the Stampede park thus early bird eat the worm. If you are going, remember to have your friends to go with you to enjoy the day. There are free concerts and events around the Stampede park through out the day. If you want to know more, please remember to download the Calgary Stampede app for free at the app store. Hope you have a great weekend.

Location: Downtown Calgary
Admission: Free

Stampede is here folks! Are you ready to put on those jeans and rock that cowboy hat?You have entire week to do that. Remember to have your Stampede pancake/breakfast. If you going to the parade, remember to go early. The parade start at 8:45 but go around 7 30 to have a seat. Be sure to bring your stack up chair with you.

Shakespeare by the Bow:  7:00 pm
Location: Prince’s Island Park
Admission: Free

If you are into literature, theatre or Shakespeare, this outdoor play is just for you. Every summer, Shakespeare at the Bow is there for you. This event lasts until August 16 so you could always find a chance to go.
