I may be a little biased because I am a part of their club team, Canada West, but Rally Pointe is one of the best facilities for volleyball in Calgary. It is located in southeast Calgary and was established in 1999 by a group of seasoned Canadian volleyball players. They offer eight indoor courts as well as six outdoor beach courts.
In addition, Rally Pointe has adult leagues for people who want to play competitively. If you want to play casually with your friends, every Friday there is Drop In. During the summer or spring, there are camps to help you improve your skills.
Rally Pointe is the home of Canada West and 403 Selects. As mentioned above, I am a part of Canada West. 403 Selects is a competitive girl’s only Club that goes from 13U all the way up to 18U. Canada West has boy and girl teams from 13U up to 18U as well. They also have elite coaches that have been on the Team Canada, and some have even taken part in the Olympics.
The complex also has a shop that sells all sorts of volleyball gear such as shoes, kneepads, spandex, or volleyballs. They can also pump your ball for free.
To conclude, Rally Pointe is the volleyball facility for you whether you’re just starting to play or you’re a professional.
