Just as every other week, this week I present to you some amazing finds on Pinterest. The selection process is never easy, and I feel like the world’s worst children’s sports team coach when I say this, but all my Pins are “top 10” worthy in my eyes. This week, I have some really cool decorating and DIY ideas, as well as pictures that are sure to generate some thought. I’ve seen tons of images on the internet with people turning cartoon characters, but this is the largest collection I’ve seen, by far. These are some of the best drawings I’ve seen and it also makes me wish that they were real, or that some spinoff show with these characters.
{Beauty}
To be honest, I had never even considered that most of these products had expiration dates. Now that I think of it, it makes sense that they do. What I like to do to remember when I bought each of my products is to put a label on it, or write on with permanent marker, the date of purchase. It probably isn’t the end of the world if you use any of these things past the expiration date, but it probably isn’t the best idea.

As university draws closer and closer, my mind wanders closer to potential decorating options. I need my living and working space to feel and look good, but I also like the versatility of “rental decor” so I can change things up every once in a while. These tips are also useable for non-renters who are looking to maximize space or just redecorate without making a big mess.
{Fashion}
Today isn’t the day to talk about body image, but I’m gonna start off by saying that every body type should be embraced. We are past the point of simple terms like “hourglass” or “apple”. I mean, how can inanimate objects who don’t have bodies define what our human bodies look like? Knowing if you’re long, short, wide, etc. of every part and how your proportions relate to one another is an essential part to dressing properly and in a flattering way.
{Food}
I am one of those people who are chronically dehydrated and I often forget to drink water throughout the busy days. But we can all make time to have a few snacks, so why not make them fruits which contain water in them? It kills two birds with one stone and helps fend off any hydration-related health problems.
{Hair}
I know what you’re thinking, “Who has time to do their hair nowadays?” It can be tough when you wake up in the morning and don’t even have enough energy to brush your teeth, let alone do your hair, but this simple hairstyle won’t take more than a minute.
{Laugh}
There is actually an entire Instagram account dedicated to why kids cry. Some of the reasons will make you face-palm but at the end of the day, seeing these kids cry is still a bit hilarious.
{Live}
Now that we’ve all had a laugh, I’m here to make you cry. The full article features several of those “just girly things” (or whatever they’re called) paired with images of soldiers in the same situation. It just gives you a little bit of perspective on what’s important to us as a society. (But don’t feel too bad; I’m not judging anybody.)

I just thought that this infographic was really cool because I hadn’t considered the origins of mythical beings before. I think that the spirits and other fairytale creatures (or whatever they like to call themselves) a culture adopts says something for the peoples’ values and ideals.
{Nails}
Having weak nails is a terrible affliction that prevents many people from growing their nails longer than 2mm. It’s unbearable when I have a chip in my nail since it inevitably leads to the breakage of the entire nail. They grow pretty fast, so it’s not the end of the world, but it’s still irritating. This neat little trick is something I never would have thought about doing, on my own. It’ll be a quick fix for the next time this unfortunate event happens to you.
